New ADAS/CAV testing areas and homologation services

Idiada has undertaken a major expansion of its Spanish proving ground facilities, marking a significant investment in future mobility testing infrastructure. The new development, scheduled for completion in November 2025, focuses on enhancing the company’s ADAS and CAV testing capabilities.

This latest project introduces several strategic additions to the proving ground. At its core, the development includes an expanded intersection alongside a second dedicated ADAS/CAV platform measuring 35,000m2. The facilities support comprehensive testing across multiple scenarios, accommodating passenger and industrial vehicles and ensuring versatility in testing capabilities.

The Urban Area has also been enhanced with a 541m straight section incorporated into the urban ring section. Idiada can provide complete simulation of various driving environments, from urban settings to interurban conditions and highway scenarios.

In parallel, Idiada continues to strengthen its homologation portfolio and broaden its catalog to include the latest regulations, notably UN Regulation No. 175 DCAS. This comprehensive approach ensures that manufacturers can access testing facilities and complete homologation services under one roof.
