Anthony James, Editor, ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle International

With over 20 years experience in editorial management and content creation for multiple, market-leading titles at UKi Media & Events (publisher of Autonomous Vehicle International), Anthony has written articles and news covering everything from aircraft, airports and cars, to cruise ships, trains, trucks and even tires!


Marius Dupuis, CEO, ASAM

Marius Dupuis holds a diploma in Aerospace Engineering and started his career in flight simulation. In 1998, he co-founded VIRES Simulationstechnologie GmbH and grew the company to a leading provider of simulation solutions for ADAS and automated driving systems. Being one of the initiators and original authors of the data standards OpenDRIVE, OpenCRG and OpenSCENARIO, Marius managed their transfer to ASAM e.V. in 2018. After leaving VIRES in 2020 and working as an independent consultant, he followed the standards and his personal interest in dynamic organizations and took on the role as ASAM’s CEO in 2022.


Bolin Zhou, technical director - CATARC Intelligent and Connected Technology, China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC)

Mr. Bolin Zhou, currently working as Technical Director for CATARC Intelligent and Connected Technology Co., Ltd., has many years of experiences in Automated Driving System verification and validation. He is working as the secretary and expert for ISO TC22/SC33 WG9, the workgroup for Test Scenarios of Automated Driving Systems, and is actively contributing to many international and national standardization and homologation activities. He is currently working as a member of the Technical Steering Committee of ASAM e.V., one of the major standardization organizations in the automotive industry, focusing on simulations for ADS. His work at CATARC includes generating test scenarios, validating ADSs and evaluating criteria for the systems. He also is charge of the internationalization work of CATARC and Chinese automotive industry. He is also one of the IEC Young Professionals globally in 2022, the program of picking the most talented professionals in the standardization community. He held a mater degree from Columbia University and is currently based in Tianjin, one of the major port cities in China.

Marc Amblard, managing director, Orsay Consulting

Marc Amblard is Managing Director of Orsay Consulting, an advisory firm based in San Francisco. He provides innovation-focused services to automotive OEMs, suppliers, mobility operators as well as startups, addressing the megatrends that impact mobility, e.g., electrification, autonomous / assisted driving, software, connected services, etc.

Deeply entrenched in Silicon Valley’s mobility ecosystem with a global perspective, Orsay Consulting assists clients with market insights, deep domain dives, keynotes, scouting for startups and tech leveraging a proprietary repository with curated information on 4,000+ mobility companies, and more. Marc also publishes “Mobility Revolution”, a monthly newsletter dedicated to auto tech and the future of mobility started in 2016.

Marc received his masters in mechanical engineering from Arts et Métiers in Paris and an MBA from the University of Michigan.


Plato Pathrose, founder, PTS Creative

Plato Pathrose is the founder of PTS Creative—a technology consulting and services firm based in Karlsruhe, Germany. This was after about two decades of industry experience in the automotive and avionics sectors. He is a techno-strategic consultant, a Process and Methods specialist, and an author of technical books. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electronics and communication engineering from the University of Kerala. He has been consulting many organizations and government agencies on the technology front worldwide.


Marc Pajon, Marc Pajon, consultant, TAKTECH SAS

Marc is a mechanical engineer with a career spanning over more than three decades in the automotive industry. He started at FORVIA (Bertrand Faure) and held key roles in CAE, testing, innovation and product planning before joining Renault in 2007. At Renault, he led the vehicle advanced engineering projects, managed the testing expertise, and developed ADAS and AD validation systems and methods as expert leader. Former CEO of S2A,he is today the president and founder of TAKTECH, boosting since 3 years mid size companies with automotive strategy, technology and business.


Sytze-Kalisvaart, senior project manager, TNO

Sytze is a senior project manager at TNO Integrated Vehicle Safety and initiator and product manager of the TNO StreetWise scenario detection pipeline. He holds an MSc from TU Delft and has worked in the automotive, medical and recycling industries. He has a track record in usability and safety of complex systems, with a special focus on software specification and validation. He has extensive experience in leading large multipartner projects and is the coordinator of EU V4Safety on prospective safety assessment.
