Wayve develops AI models for automated driving. Founded in 2017, the company pioneered AV2.0, a scalable, data-driven approach to automated driving using end-to-end AI in a way that fundamentally differs from other conventional self-driving systems.

Wayve will be talking to expo visitors about how its embodied AI technology is designed to help auto makers bring safe, intelligent, scalable driving automation to consumer vehicles. Unlike rule-based systems, its end-to-end AI learns from diverse driving data and adapts efficiently to new vehicles and geographies. This provides a flexible, map-free, hardware-agnostic, futureproof solution for deploying AI-powered driving assistance and automation features.

Most recently, Wayve has expanded into the US and Germany, showcasing the rapid adaptability of its technology to new environments with hundreds of hours’ worth of sampled data. In the US, the company demonstrated that with just 500 hours’ worth of incremental US-specific data collected over eight weeks, its AI successfully adapted to US road infrastructure, signage, traffic laws and driving behaviors, approaching UK-equivalent performance in urban and highway driving. These results demonstrate the generalizability of Wayve’s foundation model across diverse geographies and vehicle platforms, advancing the vision of a truly global AI driver.

Starting with advanced driver assistance features, Wayve will partner with auto makers globally to bring innovative and trusted product features to market, supporting the industry’s transition to a driverless future.
