Xuan Liu was in the first batch of the Tsinghua University Yao Class, and received a doctorate in computer science from the National University of Singapore. He was previously a senior engineer at Google, a core engineer on the Baidu USA self-driving team, and a main contributor to Baidu's Apollo solution.
