Richard Kruger is a senior expert in automotive safety and automation at BMW, specializing in ADAS, autonomous driving regulations, homologation, and ISO standardization. With over two decades of industry experience, he has held key leadership roles at BMW, exida GmbH, and Siemens. He serves as Secretary of UNECE’s GRVA TF on ADAS and leads major ISO projects, including ISO PAS 11585 and ISO 21717. He is also the former head of Germany’s ISO 26262 delegation and a recognized authority in functional safety and system architecture.
