Martin Kollenrott's academic journey began with degrees in physics and economics from the University of Ulm, followed by a PhD in finite element analysis. His career took him to the gas turbine sector in Switzerland before transitioning to the automotive industry at Continental. There, he held several roles as an architect, project manager and line manager, playing a key part in developing advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including rearview cameras and sensor fusion systems, as well as leading the simulation architecture. For the last two years, Kollenrott has served as the worldwide tech lead for autonomous mobility at Amazon Web Services (AWS), spearheading cutting-edge solutions in the field of self-driving vehicles.
