Gilaine is a passionate and driven professional with over six years of professional experience in system and software engineering, with a focus on autonomous driving applications (localization, mapping and path planning) and battery management systems (BMS). At BrightSkies she is responsible for developing and optimizing localization, mapping and path planning algorithms for self-driving vehicle and bus prototypes. She successfully implemented and validated algorithms for Level 3 (L3) and Level 4 (L4) autonomous driving systems using C++. Gilaine is currently pursuing an MSc in computer science (OMSCS) at Georgia Tech, having successfully completed six semesters to date.
