Fabrice Herveleu graduated from the Léonard de Vinci engineering school in 2001 with a degree in systems mechanics and crash. After collecting experience in the simulation and validation of automotive restraint systems with a vehicle manufacturer and an equipment supplier, he joined UTAC in 2014, technical service positioned in the vehicle testing, certification and emerging technologies. Now in charge of the Safety Expertise department, he oversees exploratory activities, technology watch and regulatory, consumerist and standards-related technical contributions in the fields of active, passive and tertiary safety. He is particularly involved in regulatory technical expertise activities alongside the french authority within decision-making bodies, mainly the United Nations and the European Commission.
