Dr Vimal Rau Aparow completed his PhD in the mechanical engineering (automotive) department at Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM). Then he joined the Energy Research Institute at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore to undertake postdoctoral research. Currently, he is working as director of autonomous solutions under the Director General's Office and leading the autonomous solution testing, trial and deployment phase in Ras Al Khaimah. He is a certified professional engineer and chartered engineer approved by the UK.
