Oliver is the Team Lead for ITS and Simulation at IAV GmbH, where he is responsible for advanced ADAS testing using Vehicle-in-the-Loop (ViL) simulation technologies. With extensive expertise in intelligent transportation systems and automated driving, he has played a key role in advancing the development and validation of next-generation mobility solutions. Prior to joining IAV, Oliver led the research group “Cooperative Automated Vehicles” at Fraunhofer FOKUS. During his tenure, he contributed to several pioneering European research initiatives, including simTD, DRIVE C2X, DIGINET-PS, and IMAGINE, helping to shape the future of connected and automated transportation systems. Oliver holds a PhD in Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin). He is also an accomplished researcher, with his scientific publications receiving more than 600 citations, reflecting the impact of his work within the fields of intelligent transport systems, vehicle connectivity, and automated driving.
