Jens Neuser is Director of Global Business Development at HELLA Ignite, where he leads the global rollout of the Ignite Traffic Rule Engine for autonomous driving — which is focused on harmonising European traffic laws and court rulings into deterministic, machine-readable rules that meet regulatory requirements an end-to-end AI alone cannot satisfy. Before betting on rule engines, Jens collected a wide-ranging résumé: he sold autonomous driving and homologation projects worldwide at TÜV Rheinland, founded an augmented-reality startup for the building trades, and spent years at Daimler on everything from e-mobility infrastructure to quality management. He's convinced the future of self-driving cars depends as much on getting the legal fine print right as on the AI itself.
