As senior Member by IEEE, He serves on the Steering Committee of the IEEE Transportation Electrification Community (TEC) and as an Executive Member of the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS), IEEE ITSS German Chapter. He also leads University Relations within IEEE Germany, fostering collaboration between academia and industry, and contributes to international standardization as a vice Chair of the IEEE ITSS Standards Committee. As Chair of Working Group IEEE P3377 standardization, he leads the development of standards for in-cabin sensing and communication networks. He is an Advisory Board Member at several organizations, including SDIWC, AutoSens (Smithers), and the Image Sensor Community. He is also an active member of the scientific community, serving on editorial boards, conference committees, and as a reviewer, with numerous publications in IEEE, FISITA, VDI, and SAE.
