Elmar Matthes is a technology professional in the automotive and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) domain, currently working as head of camera-based ADAS and ITS at IAV GmbH, with a focus on systems engineering and software centric vehicle architectures. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and serves as an IEEE Industry Relations Officer, actively contributing to IEEE as an author of peer reviewed papers, a contributor to IEEE conferences, and a co organizer of technical special sessions on human factors and intelligent transportation systems, fostering collaboration between industry and academia.
