Scalable Automated Driving and Next-Generation Simulation

aiMotive Hall: 1 Stand: A204
Scalable Automated Driving and Next-Generation Simulation
The world’s first real-time, hyper-realistic neural simulation enabled by aiSim connected to LGE’s HPC running aiMotive’s aiDrive automated driving software in a closed-loop
aiMotive is bringing a European first to Autonomous Vehicle Tech Expo 2026 in Stuttgart: the official debut of aiSim 6, its next-generation automotive simulation platform — demonstrated live in a hardware-in-the-loop closed-loop setup. aiSim 6 introduces flexible neural and physics-based simulation, intelligent headlight modelling, and AI-based scenario creation, enabling hyper-realistic virtual validation at scale. At the expo, visitors can experience it running in real time, connected to LGE's HPC executing aiDrive – the kind of closed-loop fidelity that was previously impossible outside a dedicated test environment.
aiMotive's presence at AVT Expo 2026 centers on the European launch of aiSim 6 and a live hardware-in-the-loop demonstration that brings together neural simulation and production automotive software in a single closed-loop setup.

aiSim 6 — Next-generation automotive simulation

aiSim 6 is designed for Physical AI and large-scale virtual validation. New capabilities include flexible neural simulation alongside physics-based rendering, intelligent headlight simulation for challenging real-world conditions — low sun angles, nighttime driving, complex urban illumination — AI-based scenario creation, and particle-simulation-based environment effects. An intuitive Web UI with advanced World Editing enables easy manipulation of sensor setups, scenarios, lighting, and 3D environments.

aiSim 6 supports SiL, closed-loop, and HiL workflows — helping development teams identify edge cases earlier and reduce reliance on time-consuming real-world testing.

Live HiL demo

At the expo, aiMotive will run a live closed-loop demonstration: aiSim 6's real-time neural simulation connected to LGE's HPC running aiDrive, aiMotive's production automated driving software stack. Visitors can see the full pipeline — from synthetic sensor output to real-time AD decision-making — operating as a system.
