BITS Pilani WILP has established the Smart Manufacturing Competency Centre (SMCC) at Electronic City, Bengaluru to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry.

The centre is designed to serve as both a training facility and an innovation partner for industries including aerospace, defence, electronics, automotive, and advanced manufacturing. Through hands-on learning, applied research, and collaborative projects, SMCC aims to address real-world manufacturing challenges and support technology adoption.

The centre will offer intensive short-term training programmes as well as longer-duration courses aligned with industry needs, helping professionals and organizations build capabilities in smart manufacturing and digital transformation.
