Safety assessment has become one of the major interests in most of countries who adopting future automotive technology to reduce the road accidents and minimize traffic congestions. This has increased the need for conducting safety testing for autonomous vehicle (AV) before actual deployment in actual environment. In Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, an Autonomous Vehicle Regulation Law has been approved for safe operation of autonomous solution in this emirate. In this regulation, a clear pathway has been proposed to establish a safety operation of autonomous solutions in Ras Al Khaimah, at one of their new islands namely Al Marjan.
