The IMoGer-project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Transport (Bundesministerium für Verkehr, BMV). As part of the project, an integrated operational concept and business model for passenger and freight transport is being developed and testwise operated in a district of Braunschweig. The approach leverages a modular autonomous vehicle concept developed by the German Aerospace Center (DLR). A central focus of the project is the creation of a safety argumentation to enable the operation of these vehicles on public roads. This presentation introduces the safety argumentation methodology and invites attendees to join IMoGer’s discussion group on AFGBV-compliant certification.
