Tuesday, May 20, Live Zone 1 - morning session
Various regulatory requirements set a new framework for the validation of automated driving functions. There is now a common understanding that a multi-pillar approach must be pursued, where virtual testing plays a crucial role alongside real-world testing. Consequently, real data must be linked with simulations to establish a seamless validation process. The challenge that remains is to gain control over the composition of the different kinds of data since it is only possible to change the parameters of a scenario in synthetic data. The solution to this is automatic virtualization of real data to parameterized driving scenarios.
- Automatic virtualizing of real-world data to parameterized driving scenarios
- Current regulatory requirements for the validation process of automated driving functions
- Cost-efficient data management with cross-continental data transfer and advanced data filtering
- Handling the challenge of region-specific attributes in the operational design domain (ODD)
