Leveraging LLMs for advanced applications in ADAS and AVs
This presentation explores the transformative potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) in shaping the next generation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Vehicle (AV) technologies. It will provide an overview of research conducted at the Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety – Queensland (CARRS-Q), focusing on the innovative integration of LLMs across diverse domains. These include applications in Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS), augmented reality interfaces, digital twin technology, and tailored solutions for rural and remote environments. The presentation will highlight how these advancements can enhance road safety and inform future developments in ITS.
